Book Notes & Thoughts About Barack Obama’s Book “A Promised Land”.
These are my thoughts and notes while reading the book, so, please take them as that. Still, great book and for sure a story worth telling with tons of examples and lessons that could be applied to many scenarios.
Be true to yourself, pursue your dreams, hold up with the hustle, try to be smart, and keep your feet on the ground are some of the key ideas along with the book I found as constant reminders.
The book narrates President Obama’s journey from his young days through some of the most interesting and challenging stories during his presidency. But still, I could not necessarily consider this as a bibliographical book but rather more a “leadership and Inspirational” style book.
In the book, President Obama brings interesting moments during his career that will clear you what happened at those particular times, from a personal, social, economical, and political view… how was to be on the other side of the news and what made him take the decisions he had to make.
The book starts with him narrowing about his childhood, his building thoughts, and how what he experienced shape his mindset through the years, starting with family junctures, places, where he lived or, visited, US…
